Chef Craig

Craig and I went through a month of time where all we watched was Food Network! We fell in love for that "Worst Cook in America" show!  ...if you haven't seen it...please watch. HILARIOUS. 
So, Craig got really into it. He started looking up the recipes and making grocery lists to cook the food...along with fill up a whole Amazon cart full of a bunch of cooking items. He cracks me up :)
So this was the first meal he cooked!

Alibi!

Craig and I were watching The Office one night and the name Sue Grafton was said and Craig was shocked that I didn't know who that was. So after he explained it, he looked up her Alphabet series of books that is apparently famous...I didn't know :/ ha! So he starts reading me the titles of these books. The first one he reads is, A is for Alibi (A-lee-bee). B is for Burglary, and so on.  I didn't quite understand what is said A is for...sounded like Aleve, like the medicine.  I just let it go by just thinking I misunderstood what he said. A minute later, he says, "Oh wait...ALIBI (Al-i-by)!"  I was dying with laughter to say the least! We sat there and looked at each other and just laughed :) He was like, "Ya...ya know...like Prince Alibi!" One of those things you want to remember :) Love this funny boy of mine :)

New Years Eve

I didn't take like ANY pictures on new years...guess I was too busy having fun and chatting with my best friends :) My two best friends- Karli and Ashley and their husbands/boyfriends/SOON TO BE FIANCE! and Craig, Paisley, and I all chilled at Karli's house. We ate too much food, played games, and talked and talked and talked :) It was the best :)

Thursday Date Night

Last Thursday, Craiger and I went on a hot date to do some Mini Golfin! By the end of the night, we were both saying that this was the best date we had ever been on :) I love when we get to spend time together just doing things that we love. We filled the night with tons and tons of laughs and seriously had the best time together.
I look forward to these types of dates that our little girl will get to tag along on :) Goodness, am I really ready for this summer to be over??

  After mini golfin', I told Craig that we should get some little tokens to play some arcade games before we left...we almost decided not to because we didn't really want to spend anymore money...but! Right as I was walking out of the bathroom (#pregobladder) I saw Craig buying $10 WORTH OF TOKENS!! ha!!  I was so dang excited! So we played and played and played to our hearts desires :)   I beat Craig at Mini Golf, but I swear...he is so good at arcade games... Lets just say we won 200 tickets on Deal or No Deal and 350 tickets on Wheel of Fortune!  Ha :)   Craig ended the night by spoiling me (again) with a little mini Concrete Mixer from Culver's. Gosh, I love this man and all he does for me.   No one else could probably handle me, but some how he does. All while still loving me :)   So- here is to the best date night ever and to the best husband ever also <3

I  have needed to post this somewhere- and where is better than our family journal :) 

Craig HATES having his picture taken, but sometimes you have to put them on special applications that are being sent all over the country...so you make an exception :)

The After Party

After the wedding that Saturday, we had a chance to unwind while eating some lunch and having some fun in a candy shop :) We headed back to the hotel after and got ready for the next event of the day.

We arrived at a very (lovely) smelly barn :) At first, I was a little worried about the smell of cows in the air...but that soon was taken away with the smell of an amazing waffle truck...gosh...that sounds dang good right now. So here are some pictures of the beautiful evening- don't mind my loser comments along the way :)

My brothers favorite candy is Sour Patch Kids and Meg's is Hot Tamales- so they made a compromise and served both :)

The whole night, Lainey wanted to dance...and when she didn't want to dance, she wanted to "go see Uncle Ryan's princess" PRECIOUS.

Ok- let me just make a note right here... These two had the most perfect first dance I have ever seen. They were romantic, they were goofy, and they were the best part of the night :) Gosh, it just doesn't get better!

And the rest of the dancing was just the best :)  I told Craig that he had two options (because he DOES NOT dance- as he would say) 1. Dance your freakin heart out... OR 2. You can hide behind the camera and capture some good pictures! He chose the latter :)

Another good part of the night (that can never go forgotten) would be when my brother-in-law Kipp decided that tonight was the night that he show the family his hidden dance skills.  All of a sudden (out of no where) we see kipp going crazy! He was boody poppin on Ryan and then was on the ground breakdancing! HA! Best memories ever I tell ya

If you couldn't already tell, this was the best weekend ever. My family is complete...for the most part :) All of my brothers and sisters are no married, one is done having kids, some have some kids with hopefully more on the way, and the youngest are yet to get started :) I am so grateful to be able to be sealed to my fam forever.  That really is the greatest miracle of all.
