Carlizl's In California 2016 - Part 2

Here is a little update on the next little part of our trip!
Coronado Beach was absolutely beautiful! I know tons of people that have been to Coronado, but I had never been and was totally surprised by how beautiful it was!
The little town is so quaint and cute :)
Plus, THE BEST GELATO EVER. Seriously.
The first day at the beach was a little cold, so I didn't leave Paisley on her own to discover much, but at Coronado it was warm and sunny. We went out to the water and Paisley nearly freaked :) haha!
She hated seeing the waves get close and would turn around to me and start crying. She also hated the sand, but by the end of the day, she was eating it and loving it :)
One thing for sure is that we can't force this girl to do anything, she definitely has her own way and time of doing things.

 Look at that smile!

This is how she was anytime I took a step towards the water...ha Climbing to the top of the highest point!

She would criss-cross her feet and lift them as high as she could to not touch the sand! ha!

 GOOFIEST PICTURE OF US :)

 Sandy mouth :)

 Cute little Sutton Button!

There was this one guy that was building a sand castle for a proposal latter that day.
It was the coolest sand castle!!

They Come In Three's

On August 9th, two little girlies joined our family.
THEN on September 14th, my little Paisley came along.
That meant that our family had three new baby girls within about a month!
To say we were all on cloud nine would be an understatement :)
These pictures were taken when Paisley was about 5 days old...and she is the same size as her almost 6 week old cousins!! HA.
Good stuff :)
I am the youngest sibling in my family of five. My closest sibling is 8.5 years older than me.
I was always secretly sad that my kids would most likely not have any cousins their age to play with.
But, I lucked out :)
These two little gals are my sisters 4th and 5th. Paisley will be best friends with these two little girls, I just know it :)

So grateful for my family <3

Amelia and Georgia

All day Sunday was an anxious waiting game for me!
My sister was scheduled to be induced and I continued to wait all morning and all afternoon for a text that would confirm that those sweet baby nieces of mine had made it to their family saftly!

Well, at 1:07 Baby A (Amelia) decided to make a speedy debut :)
...and about 20 minutes later, Baby B (Georgia) decided to join the party!
These sweet girls, along with their mom, are all healthy and happy!
Amelia was 5 lbs. 8 oz and Georgia was 5 lbs. 12 oz. and both were 18.5 in. long!
My sister amazes me. She hadn't yet recieved her epidural before Amelia came out and I just seriously stood in shock when I saw that.
I COULD NEVER DO THAT.
I am a wimp when it comes to pain and I am just so proud that my sister did that!

Uncle Crag and Aunt Lettie meeting these sweet twin girls for the first time!
It was different holding these new nieces of mine than any of my other nieces or nephews before.
Usually I just sit and gawk at how cute they are, etc. etc.
But this time, I couldn't help but notice how tiny they were.
How completely reliable they were on their mom.
And how precious they are.

In four short weeks, I will welcome my sweet little girl and I know that the responsibilities of having an infant are going to be very numerous.
Despite a little anxiety and fear over that, I know that Heavenly Father, along with my loving family and friends, will help me. I know that my maternal instinct will kick in and I will be able to do everything that she will need me for.
I know there will be challenges.
I know there will be hard times.

But, I also know that my love for our baby girl will outweigh all of those things.
I know I will be able to do this.

And meeting these two angels has made me more excited and ready than ever before <3
Amelia
Georgia- she is the one with the lashes- although, you can't see them very well here :)
 Amelia- and her cheeks :)
ah! Those cheeks!
 And one last one.

Gosh, I wish I could be snuggling these two right about now!!
