"No You Aren't!"

All day at work was torture...yet...peaceful :)
I had the urge to just tell everyone about my news, but at the same time, I wanted to keep it a secret.
I was the only one that knew about the sweet child growing inside me and that was pretty darn special.
After three more tests at work that day, I had four positives sitting in my hand.
When I took my last test, I wasn't really surprised anymore.
I got out of the stall and looked in the mirror and soon ran right back in.
I stood there for a moment in disbelief again, and then started jumping up and down :)
I kept whispering...
Obviously I still was having a hard time with this realness factor.
Fast forward to that night...
Craig had been waiting for me to get home for the last 30 minutes...but I usually don't ever get home when I say I will, so he wasn't that surprised.
Luckily for me, it was a Tuesday and that meant that Craig didn't have work.
After casually strolling through the door, I made small talk and then headed towards the bathroom. I pulled out a pregnancy test and put it in my pocket.
I then made up a weird make it seem more normal...
I told him that I had eaten this yummy Dove chocolate that day and inside the wrapper it said that I would be able to beat any opponent in a game that day.
Weird? Ya...but I had to make it work...ha!
So I told him that I really wanted to play a game with him- avoiding homework...not hungry enough to cook dinner yet...etc.
So I asked him if he wanted to play LIFE!
Well, he agreed and off we were :)
I sat down with the game and threw the pregnancy test under the couch.
As we were setting it up, I casually started singing,
"Craig and Celeste- sittin in a tree,
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the..."
And I would start over, never finishing the song...ha :)
He didn't catch on yet...don't worry!
So, I the game starts, Careers are chosen, we pass the Get Married stop, and the very next tile that Craig lands on is...
I looked at Craig and try to get him focused on something other than collecting his money for PAY DAY...
I continued asking him little questions like-
AWE! A baby girl :) That's cute! Do you want to have a baby girl?
Do you wish that it was a boy??
What it that had been twins?!
-till I had his full attention.
Then I started asking,
Do you want to be a Daddy?
How bad do you want to be a Dad?
Slowly he started giving me these weird looks like, "Why are you asking me all of these questions?!"
I then switched the questions to, "What if I told you that you were going to be a daddy?"
Well, all that he could say back was...
"Celeste, stop it."
"I know you are joking around."
"Stop, no you aren't."
"This isn't funny!"
Well, as soon as the tears started flowing and I said, "Guess what! You really are going to be a daddy!" we were all smiles :)
Being able to tell him about this exciting news made it just that much more real for me.
He was in shock...haha!! We both were a little!
Of course this is something that we both want, really bad, but at the same time, this moment was so unreal.

We are going to be parents...and that is probably news to anyone :)
