Families are Forever

After many late nights up at the lake- I was pretty tuckered out like this little chicka.
But, as I have been blogging and have had lots of time to reflect over the special time I was able to spend with my family- I have been overwhelmed with love.
The Plan of Salvation (happiness) is really something, isn't it?
Sometimes it is hard to understand why we are here, why we have to face fears, overcome trial after trial, and look at ourselves in the mirror and wonder why we aren't perfect.
At least, I know that I have wondered that before.
But being with my family really shows me how much my Heavenly Father loves each of us.
He knew that this life would be hard.
He knew that we would need a mom and a dad to rely on.
I wonder if I chose my family or if that is how He designed it.
He loves me- and when I look at each of these faces, I know that He loves each of us.
So Much.
I am beyond grateful to my Heavenly Father who loved me enough to give me each of these people.
Every challenge we go through is completely worth it to me if I get THIS much happiness out of having a body and being here to experience this earthly life, with these people by my side.

Side Note:
On the way home from Logan- I turned to Craig and asked him if he would let me visit my grandma.
Of course he said yes and even found the cemetery where she is buried.
Once we were there, I found her grave immediately.
This was my first time going up there without my parents by my side and I was able to find it!
It's the little things.
A day doesn't pass when I don't think of my sweet guardian at least once.
She is my angel- and I was hers.
I know that she holds my hand when I am sad or when I need a spiritual hug.
  2004 seems like forever ago.
But, it seems like just yesterday that I was swimming in her pool, making toast with jelly, watching the Price is Right, and playing Go Fish.
The memory of her in a hospital bed is right there also.
Her holding my hand and saying, "Please promise you won't ever forget me."
Grandma, you weren't forgotten, nor will you ever be.

Till we meet again.
Families are forever- don't ever forget that!!
Happy (family) Friday Everyone!
