Oregon Day 2: Cannon Beach

The second part of the day was the best!!! We drove for a while outside Portland to the coast.  One of the stops I knew we needed to see was Cannon Beach.  I have always seen pictures and really wanted to go there- and that day I got to see it all! This little town is a dream. Like, out of a romantic movie! It was overcast (like usual) and was so picturesque.

Like really??

This was all just to get to the beach...so perfect!

Dreamy right? You are on the beach, but right behind you is this lush green background of hills. Crazy :)

I didn't really think to bring a jacket, and it was a little chilly.

The water was UNBEARABLE!! It felt like it was coming straight from a glacier!

Are these little beach houses not perfect? The town all around was the definition of that word.

These little dudes were covering the rocks- so cool!

There was so wild life too.  We met our first PUFFIN! :)

After leaving the windy beach, we walked about a mile to a cute little cafe on the side of the street.  The food was not so amazing, but I swear it didn't matter. Just being in such an awesome place with such an awesome person was all I wanted :)

On our drive over to Tillamook Cheese Factory, we drove along the coast.  The views were seriously unreal.  I think the water looks even more blue when it is next to the green hillside.

This was a good end to our day :)

Such a good day full of roses, driving, beaches, small towns, and good company :) Happy 2nd Anni to us!
