Paint Masters

Cute hubs and I had the chance to go do a paint night together at the Paint Mixer in Sugarhouse. It is located right across the street from the Sugarhouse Park and is just so cute!
We had a blast painting and found out who was the real artist...and it wasn't me...ha!

 Craigers!

Thursday Are THE BEST

Since having a little person added to our family, we have had to find time to go out just us two.
This at first was difficult for me, because I already feel that I spend a lot of time away from my baby girl.
But, Craig has helped me understand that we still need to strengthen our own relationship, alone :)
I have really enjoyed that time that we have taken to just enjoy us...and sometimes she will tag along too!
Thursday's have become a really happy day after about 3:45 :)
We finish school and then chill for a little bit and then are able to go to a movie or dinner...or both!
I have loved spending time with my baby daddy...gosh is a good lookin guy :)
So, here is to many more date nights and fun times with this babe.

Thursday Date Night

Last Thursday, Craiger and I went on a hot date to do some Mini Golfin!
By the end of the night, we were both saying that this was the best date we had ever been on :)
I love when we get to spend time together just doing things that we love.
We filled the night with tons and tons of laughs and seriously had the best time together.

I look forward to these types of dates that our little girl will get to tag along on :)
Goodness, am I really ready for this summer to be over??

After mini golfin', I told Craig that we should get some little tokens to play some arcade games before we left...we almost decided not to because we didn't really want to spend anymore money...but! Right as I was walking out of the bathroom (#pregobladder) I saw Craig buying $10 WORTH OF TOKENS!! ha!!
I was so dang excited!
So we played and played and played to our hearts desires :)

I beat Craig at Mini Golf, but I swear...he is so good at arcade games...
Lets just say we won 200 tickets on Deal or No Deal and 350 tickets on Wheel of Fortune!
Ha :)

Craig ended the night by spoiling me (again) with a little mini Concrete Mixer from Culver's.
Gosh, I love this man and all he does for me.

No one else could probably handle me, but some how he does.
All while still loving me :)

So- here is to the best date night ever and to the best husband ever also <3

Date Night Fails...

As you will soon see, I am NOT (all caps, bolded) a photographer.
But, every now and then, I try and capture a pic of the hubs and I.
We don't have a tripod or a remote, so we have become pretty good about placing, stacking, etc. our camera to snap a good one.

Well, sometimes they aren't so good.
HA!
Not only does Craig hate pictures, but he thinks one is enough...but when I continue to fail...he gets just a little impatient :)

#laughsonlaughs
Love this hubs.

Ya, we finally just settled with a selfie.
Go us.

Fall Happened...I Know

Yes, I know that everyone had completed their Fall posts...months ago...but remember how this is a little journal too? Ya...we are going to take a step back again and recollect after that crazy fall semester.
Deal.
I tried putting together this big group date to Comedy Sportz in October, but sadly- almost everyone had plans so we settled for a double date with Craig's brother and his fiance. Good times and many many laughs!
We enjoyed a night at Riverwoods during Halloween with some of our friends :)
It was the perfect weather and just so fun to take a break for school and have time for the people we care about.

Who's in for a group date?! I really need to plan one soon-so let me know who is in!
I have a dang handsome husband...DANG.
While in one of the toy stores, I spied these little books in the corner and I ABOUT DIED!
When I was in elementary school- these were some of my favorite books ever!
My friends and I would always try and find which character we were.
You can imagine it, "No! I am Little Miss Princess" or "I know I am Little Miss Happy!"
Good good times folks.
AND- even one Sunday- we skipped out on doing homework and enjoyed the outside.
This kid is always impressing me with his talents. Gotta love a man full of surprises :)

Letter from a Wife

Dear Huns,
I am sorry that all you eat anymore is Squigly Noodles (aka. Top Ramen).
Oh...and Quesadillas...
But hey...I am really glad that we discovered canned Chili again...
It is always good to rediscover favorite (canned) foods right?
I am grateful that you are so willing to do the dishes all the time.
I promise I will start helping more.
Thanks for keeping my side of the bed warm when I stay up late doing homework.
Oh, and don't mind my books laying everywhere...
I promise I will finally clean up...in 6 weeks.
AND
last but not least...
thank you for being so patient and loving all of the time.
You are exactly what I have always needed.
Love you always,
Your...
crazy, sleep deprived, baby hungry, chocolate loving, smilie, "got no time!"
wife.

(Oh, yes- this picture does include one of the best 50 year old photo bombers :)- it is a keeper)

Criss Cross

Craiger and I finally got something crossed off that Bucket List of ours!
And it may be the most simple thing ever...
BOWLING.
Ya, that's right. Craig and I have never ever been bowling together!!
So we finally went and had a freakin BALL!
Before we started our 'Cosmic Bowling' though, we took a quick ($7 dollar) detour to the arcade- another first for Craigsters and I.
On the right there is Craig's brother, Dustin and his date Kourtney
 Gettin' all sorta a serious
(nice part in the hair lettie....)
I was pretty AMAZING at this one coin game- and got quite a few tickets, thanks :)

Once the bowling started- we had an even better time.
But, if any of you know Craig and I- you probably know that we are both pretty darn competitive.
Craig still ended up doing really well.
Thank heavens I didn't go in hoping that I would clean everyone's clocks...because it was quite the opposite :)

Flubber (there on the side) is what we won with all of those tickets ha!

This is usually what the score looked like.
(L is for Lettie- my nickname- and yes- I was trying SO HARD.)
(best cross-eyes I can do apparently...)
This is the first knee-slapper for the night though.
During Cosmic Bowling- they give out prizes for those that win the competition they are holding during that time. Craig, Dustin, and Kourtney all got strikes- so they got free drinks.
I was the only one who did not succeed.
So then later on- they did a competition for whoever could hit the #7 pin, and only the #7 pin (the #7 pin is the one in the very back on the left side)
So, I gave it my best shot (even though I knew it would go in the gutter) and to my glorious surprise- I did it!!
So guess what I won?
No, NOT SOME SILLY DRINK!
A Chocolate Shake folks.
That's right!
And guess what I did- I ate it :)
Winner Winner!!
So, as you can see- I was the best bowler on our team.
I know- you are not surprised are ya :)

But to end the night with a bang- I won the biggest competition of all!
There were colored pins popping up throughout all of the lanes. If a colored pin popped up in your lane, in the very front, you had to grab someone to watch you bowl. If you got a strike- you got five bucks...Well, guess who did it :)
The other three settled for drinks- but I...I never settle for anything less than the best :)
HA!
ice cream on me tonight guys :)

Happy Saturday Everyone!
